Day 1 : Arrival in Paro

Arrive in Paro, Bhutan, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and take some time to relax and acclimatize to the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 : Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical treasures of Paro. Visit the impressive Rinpung Dzong, a magnificent fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley, followed by a visit to the traditional National Museum of Bhutan. Later, explore the charming streets and local markets of Paro, offering an insight into Bhutanese culture and daily life. Return to your hotel and relax.

Day 3 : Paro to Thimphu

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the picturesque capital of Bhutan, approximately 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, explore the city with visits to the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue, Memorial Chorten, and the traditional Tashichho Dzong, an important centre of Bhutanese government and monastic life. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 4 : Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha, travelling through the scenic mountain landscapes of Bhutan. En route, cross the spectacular Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 memorial stupas and panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges on a clear day. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, dramatically situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, check in to your hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 5 : Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, depart for Paro and enjoy the scenic Himalayan journey. Upon arrival, visit the historic Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most revered temples. Later, explore the local surroundings or enjoy some free time at leisure. In the evening, relax at your hotel and soak in the serene atmosphere of the Paro Valley.

Day 6 : Paro & Departure

After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure or explore Paro’s local markets for traditional Bhutanese handicrafts and souvenirs. Later, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your enchanting journey through Bhutan’s monasteries, valleys and Himalayan landscapes to an end.
