Day 1 : Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive in Bangalore, where you will be welcomed on arrival and transferred comfortably to your hotel. Check in and relax for the evening.
Day 2 : Bangalore to Mysore
After breakfast, enjoy a brief orientation tour of Bangalore, exploring some of the city’s highlights. Later, drive to Mysore, approximately 3 hours away. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind.
Day 3 : Exploring Mysore
After breakfast, spend the day discovering the cultural and royal heritage of Mysore. Visit the magnificent Mysore Palace and continue to Srirangapatnam, historically associated with Tipu Sultan, the celebrated warrior king of Mysore.
Day 4 : Mysore to Chikmagalur via Shravanabelagola
After breakfast, depart for Chikmagalur, with a journey of approximately 4½ hours. En route, stop at Shravanabelagola, one of India’s significant Jain pilgrimage sites. Please note that the visit includes a steep climb and requires a reasonable level of fitness. Continue to Chikmagalur and check in at your hotel upon arrival.
Day 5 : Belur & Halebid Excursion
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the historic towns of Belur and Halebid. Belur is renowned for its magnificent temples and intricate craftsmanship, particularly the Chennakeshava Temple, a remarkable masterpiece of Hoysala architecture. Continue to Halebid to admire its impressive sculptural heritage, including the celebrated Hoysaleswara Temple.
Day 6 : Chikmagalur to Bangalore & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Bangalore, approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, proceed to Bangalore International Airport to board your flight for your onward destination, bringing your memorable Karnataka journey to an end.
